Choro JAUNA MUZIKA Kalėdinis koncertas ''In Paradisum''

IN PARADISUM – Choir JAUNA MUZIKA Christmas Concert. The idea of spending the second day of Christmas with JAUNA MUZIKA is already a long-time tradition, and gains new colours this year! Encouraged by the unending interest in the Choir's concerts on this festive day, this year we are announcing two performances – at 4 PM and 7 PM.

Special guests of the concert are the Choir's friends, violinist Dalia Dėdinskaitė and cellist Gleb Pyšniak, who share a warm creative friendship with the Choir. This duo - DUETTISSIMO was called a ‘Dream Duo’ when on stage and in life by the Dutch newspaper Noordhollands Dagblad. The unusual combination of violin and cello, as D. Dėdinskaitė notes, requires ‘maximum synergy’ and inspires composers. It is no coincidence that Vytautas Barkauskas' composition ‘Duettissimo’, dedicated to this duo and first performed in Vienna at the ‘Musikverein Gläserner’ Hall, became the duo's name and marks more than a decade of their artistic journey.

In one of the most beautiful Baroque churches in Vilnius, the works of John Tavener, Patrick Hawes, Ēriks Ešenvalds, Ola Gjeilo, Michael Gordon, Pēteris Vasks, Ivo Antognini, and Donatas Zakaras will be performed by the JAUNA MUZIKA Choir and DUETTISSIMO. Let’s celebrate Christmas together!

After more than 30 minutes from the start of the event, spectators are not allowed into the hall and tickets are not refunded.
