In the historically and culturally significant city of Palanga, at the Kurhauz terrace, a unique four-hour marathon will take place featuring young musicians and artists in the open air. This event will serve as an exceptional example of creative synthesis, reflecting the dual personality of M. K. Čiurlionis. The marathon will bring together talented young artists from various Lithuanian cities, offering them an opportunity not only to perform publicly but also to engage in a creative dialogue with fellow participants and the audience. The synthesis of music and art in this special environment will encourage young creators to experiment, discover new forms of expression, and expand their artistic boundaries. The musicians will perform works from various genres – ranging from well-known classical pieces to contemporary music – while the artists will create their works live, responding to the rhythms of the music and the unique atmosphere of the event. The young talent marathon "The Tale of Kings", with its exceptional program, will undoubtedly inspire and enrich not only the participants but also the gathered audience.

The XIII International M. K. Čiurlionis Music Festival is part of the "Čiurlionis 150" anniversary program.
