Johan Randvere (fortepijonas, Estija) | ''Žvaigždžių sonata''
The concert "Sonata of the Stars" – an unforgettable musical journey with pianist Johan Randvere (Estonia).
Johan Randvere is a pianist whose talent and charisma captivate not only Estonia but also the entire world. Constantly performing in prestigious concert halls around the world, such as New York’s Carnegie Hall, Randvere is renowned not only for his solo performances but also as an outstanding chamber music performer.
During the XIII International M. K. Čiurlionis Festival, rare classical music works will be performed, with a special focus on M. K. Čiurlionis' Sonata in F major, which will likely be heard for the first time in Palanga. This extraordinary piece, like all of Čiurlionis' work, combines music with visual art, creating landscapes of sound, emotion, and color, perfectly suited to the coastal environment.
The program will also feature works by other well-known composers: Erkki-Sven Tüür's modern and dynamic Sonata, Richard Strauss and Percy Grainger's love duet from "Der Rosenkavalier", Maurice Ravel's delicate "Pavane" and sparkling "Jeux d'eau", and Frédéric Chopin's passionate Fantasy in f minor, Op. 49.
