Mūza Rubackytė (fortepijonas) | ''Nuo Baltijos iki Adrijos''
At the opening concert of the XIII International M. K. Čiurlionis Music Festival, Mūza Rubackytė presents the program "From the Baltic to the Adriatic".
The legendary Lithuanian pianist Mūza Rubackytė subtly combines different eras and cultures in this program, revealing the harmony between musical mastery and history.
A stage diva who has built an extensive repertoire, Mūza Rubackytė has chosen an extremely delicate and technically demanding program for the opening concert of the XIII International M. K. Čiurlionis Music Festival, to be held in the concert hall of the Palanga Kurhaus. The program will pay special attention to Čiurlionis, who is celebrating his 150th anniversary. The music of this Lithuanian genius unites music, painting, and literature, creating a unique atmosphere, which Mūza Rubackytė will reveal with her characteristic subtlety. The concert will also feature works by Leopold Godowsky, born in Žasliai and considered one of the greatest pianists of all time, as well as picturesque compositions by contemporary composer Raminta Šerkšnytė, all culminating in the most beautiful parts of Ferenc Liszt's piano cycle "Years of Pilgrimage".
