VIP / Imagine Dragons - LOOM World Tour
On June 3, 2025, Tallinn Song Festival Grounds will be charged with incredible raw energy as Imagine Dragons, one of the world's most successful pop-rock bands, takes the stage in the beginning of their world tour for the latest album "Loom", right here in Estonia! Declan McKenna will take the stage as a special guest.
Imagine Dragons are renowned for their electrifying performances and chart-topping hits that have dominated the global music scene for years. The show coming to Estonia this June promises to be exceptionally powerful, with the charismatic frontman, Dan Reynolds, bringing his raw sincerity to the stage. Known for his dynamic stage presence—rushing to the speakers, dropping to his knees, darting back and forth like a Casanova struck by lightning—Reynolds defies the polished facade one might expect from a band hailing from Las Vegas. As one review puts it, Imagine Dragons is so pure and genuine, it almost feels naive.
Formed in 2008, Imagine Dragons—comprising Dan Reynolds (vocals), Wayne Sermon (guitar), and Ben McKee (bass)—quickly rose to global fame. They first captured widespread attention with their single "It's Time", followed by their 2012 debut album “Night Visions”, featuring the unforgettable hit "Radioactive". Over the years, the band has dominated the charts with several successful albums, including “Smoke + Mirrors” (2015), “Evolve” (2017), and “Origins” (2018), producing legendary tracks like "Believer," "Thunder," and "Demons."
Their sixth studio album, “Loom”, released in June 2024, delves into themes of change and introspection. The album has been warmly received by both fans and critics. "Imagine Dragons is flying higher than ever," praises Billboard. “Ten years after their commercial breakthrough, the Las Vegas rockers are still scoring real crossover hits, playing to packed houses, and playing a U2-esque long game.”
Dan Reynolds describes “Loom” as a deeply personal project, reflecting significant shifts in his life. "I really love the word 'loom,'" he says. "I've always thought of it as something bad that’s coming your way, but really, it could be anything—good or bad. I also love the double meaning, representing a loom where all these pieces come together to make something beautiful."
He continues, "I’ve had a lot of changes in my life. I had just gotten out of a ten-year relationship, and that’s probably the main theme of “Loom”. It's really an album about a relationship—the end of it, the beginning of it, and what it means to coexist and find happiness."
Reflecting on his musical journey, Reynolds shared how his passion for music began in childhood. "I wrote my first song when I was 11. I stole a microphone from my older brother, and I was listening to a lot of Enya at the time. So I just recorded, like, 20 of my voices, trying to create soothing songs for my pimple-faced, bespectacled middle school self. I found it really calming and cathartic. Singing became something I did every day."
Throughout their career, Imagine Dragons has earned numerous accolades, including three American Music Awards, nine Billboard Music Awards, a Grammy Award, and more. They are also the first band in RIAA history to have four songs certified higher than Diamond, a testament to their global popularity. With over 160 billion streams across platforms and more than 74 million albums sold, Imagine Dragons continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
Their live performances are known for their emotional depth and powerful connection with the audience, leaving fans in awe. The upcoming concert in Tallinn is a must-see event for fans, offering the chance to experience the band's latest music from ”Loom” along with their classic hits.
