Premiere of "The Creation of the World"
Čiurlionis' paintings come to life through music, dance, and visualizations

For the first time in Lithuania – an extraordinary collaboration between stage legends and the creators of the virtual reality project "Angelų takais" ("On the Angels' Paths"), specially crafted for the XIII International M. K. Čiurlionis Music Festival. The team invites you to dive into the genius of Lithuanian artist M. K. Čiurlionis and see through his eyes how our planet was born.

The premiere of this unique project will bring to life the stories from Čiurlionis' thirteen-painting cycle "The Creation of the World."

Legendary saxophonist Petras Vyšniauskas, soprano Gunta Gelgotė, and mezzo-soprano Nora Petročenko, along with piano virtuoso Aleksandra Žvirblytė, the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, and dancers from the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre, directed and choreographed by Martynas Rimeikis, will fill the Palanga Concert Hall with the energy of compositions by Jonas Jurkūnas and contemporary dance. The moving projections of Čiurlionis' brilliant paintings, created by the "Angelų takais" team, will enhance this energy even further.
