MAISTO PREKĖS | PREMJERA
THE GROCERY STORE | PREMIERE
The contemporary circus performance “The grocery store“ explores the everyday life of a place we are all familiar with, a simple Lithuanian grocery store. Although the foreground of the performance is a humorous image of a grocery store with its characters, the performance deals with post-traumatic disorders and the different ways people approach the same life situations.
For the contemporary circus and interdisciplinary art organisation "būda.collective" the identity of our country is important. This performance is based on the creators' own memories of their homes, so when you are in the grocery store, you will experience nostalgia and see a story about all of us! The performance uses physical theatre and circus disciplines: juggling, manipulation of objects, quick change.
